Turning parking
spaces into a protest.

Insight: Despite Bont voor Dieren's efforts, too many stores still display fur in their shop windows. As long as it's visible from the street, it remains a normal part of everyday life. But right in front of many of those windows lies an overlooked opportunity: a public parking space.
Idea: The Bontblocker, a moving billboard that literally parks in front of shop windows displaying real fur. On the Bontblocker, a QR code invited bypasser to take action: donate €4 to cover one hour of parking and keep the protest visible.
Results: More than a thousand people donated within a single day. Woolrich has since removed the fur display from its shop window, and enough parking fees were raised to keep our BontBlocker parked in front of fur shop windows throughout the year.
